Daurala: Daurala sugar mill has started making payment for the cane procured from the farmers for ongoing 2022-23 crushing season, reports Live Hindustan.
Senior General Manager of the milll, Sanjiv Kumar, said that the sugar mill has sent the bills for the cane purchased from October 28 to 31 to the respective sugarcane committees and with this, the mill is first in the state to do so in the ongoing season.
“The owners of the mill had asked to start clearing cane bills as early as possible and we have followed their orders,” he said.
Senior General Manager has urged the farmers to send clean and quality cane to the mill for crushing.
