Domestic sugar prices were reported higher
Domestic sugar prices were reported to be Rs 10 per quintal higher across the markets for the second session, as sellers remained inactive in anticipation of price increases ahead of the festive season. Demand is said to be average and need-based.
M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar ranges between Rs 3,930 and Rs 3,980 per quintal, whereas S-grade sugar in Kolhapur costs between Rs 3,590 and Rs 3,660. Agrimandi.live expects S-grade sugar prices in Kolhapur to fall between Rs 3,500 and Rs 3,650 per quintal in the coming days.

The rupee traded against the US dollar at 83.995 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.4419, Crude futures traded at ₹6002, Crude WTI traded at $71.25 barrel. Sensex closed 1769.19 points lower at 82497.10 whereas Nifty closed 546.80 points lower at 25250.10
