State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3180 to ₹3250/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3275 to 3350/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3250 to 3350/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3320 to 3425/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3470 to 3500/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3271 to 3401/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3371 to 3451/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3450 to 3500/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3500 to 3550/Qntl.

International Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $495.60/ton, whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 18.79/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 74.688 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.6870, Crude futures traded at Rs.5716, Crude WTI traded at $76.49 barrel. Sensex closed 672.71 points higher at 59,855.93 whereas Nifty ended 179.55 points higher at 17,805.25.
