Domestic Market: The market witnessed moderate demand nationwide.
Maharashtra: S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3200 to ₹3230/Qntl whereas M/30 ₹3300 to ₹3330.
South Karnataka: The rates for S/30 are ₹3370 to 3400/Qntl whereas for M/30 are at ₹3450/Qntl.
Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 are ₹3380/Qntl.
Gujarat: The rates for New S/30 are ₹3321 whereas M/30 are at ₹3351 to 3371/Qntl.
Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3400 to Rs.3430 whereas, M/30 rates are ₹3450 to 3475.

International Market:
According to reports, on Thursday, sugar prices settled mixed with NY sugar at a 1-1/2 week high , London sugar closed lower, as the outlook for adequate supplies weighed on prices. London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $353.20/tn, whereas US Sugar front month contract is trading at 12.21/lb at the time of writing this update.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices: The rupee traded against the US dollar at 74.599 whereas USD traded with BRL at 5.2865, Crude futures traded at Rs.3038, Crude WTI traded at $40.65. Indices ended in the green, sensex closed 465.86 points higher at 36,487.28. Similarly, Nifty ended 156.30 points higher at 10,763.65.
