The market witnessed moderate demand.
State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3230 to ₹3260/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3290 to 3350/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3300 to 3375/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3425/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3520 to 3550/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3271 to 3301/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3371 to 3471/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3375 to 3525/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3510 to 3550/Qntl.

International Market:
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $508.50/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.59/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.5513, Crude futures traded at Rs.5430 Crude WTI traded at $71.76 a barrel. Sensex closed 157.45 points higher at 58,807.13 whereas Nifty ended 47.10 points higher at 17,516.85
