Domestic sugar prices are said to be stable to weak
Sugar prices in the major markets were reported to be stable to weak due to dull demand. Spot market prices are weighing due to the ongoing crushing season, which is expected to further weigh in the coming days.
In Muzaffarnagar, M-grade sugar cost between Rs 3,770 and Rs 3,840 per quintal, while S-grade sugar cost between Rs 3,510 and Rs 3,570 per quintal in Kolhapur. According to Agrimandi, S grade sugar in Kolhapur markets is expected to trade between Rs 3,500 and Rs 3,620 per quintal in the next two weeks.
