Domestic sugar prices were reported stable to higher
After a sharp fall, domestic prices in Uttar Pradesh reported higher by Rs 15-20 per quintal on good buying. Demand was reported to be average and yet to pick up. Start of wedding season in North India is likely to support the demand in coming days.
In Kolhapur s grade sugar prices ranges between Rs 3,530-3,555, whereas M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar traded between Rs 3,745-3,770. According to Agrimandi, the S grade sugar in the Kolhapur market is expected to trade between Rs 3,500 and Rs 3,600 per quintal over the next two weeks.
