Domestic Market:
The market witnessed good demand in Maharashtra and Gujarat. Rest of the parts witnessed moderate demand.
State wise Prices as on 15th September 2021 :
◾ Maharashtra: S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3370 to ₹3470/Qntl. whereas M/30 is at ₹3520 to 3600/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3400 to 3475/Qntl. whereas M/30 is at ₹3475 to 3535/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rate for M/30 is ₹3650 to 3700/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3400 to 3461/Qntl. whereas M/30 is at ₹3561 to 3581/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates were at ₹3600 to 3650/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates were at ₹3650 to 3700/Quintal.

International Market:
Yesterday’s Closing:
On Tuesday sugar prices closed mixed. London White Sugar closed at $495.60/ton up $10.90 whereas New York Sugar closed lower 0.02 points at 18.96 cents per pound.
Market Today :
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $505.10/tn whereas the New York Sugar is trading at 19.44/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices: The rupee traded against the US dollar at 73.474 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.2536 Crude futures traded at Rs.5314, Crude WTI traded at $72.31 a barrel. Sensex closed 476.11 points up at 58,723.20 whereas Nifty ended 138.45 points up at 17,519.45
