Daily Sugar Market Update By Vizzie – 16/01/2024

ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 16th January 2024

Domestic Market

Domestic sugar has been reported to be stable

Sugar prices in the major markets were reported to be stable, with muted demand. The ongoing crushing season is also putting pressure on major spot market prices. Despite the possibility of an early closure, mills are still running, which will probably have an impact on prices in the medium run.

S-grade sugar in Kolhapur costs between Rs 3,510 and Rs 3,570 per quintal, while M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar costs between Rs 3,770 and Rs 3,840 per quintal. Agrimandi.live predicts that S grade sugar in Kolhapur markets will trade between Rs 3,480 and Rs 3,600 per quintal during the course of the next two weeks.
