Domestic Market:
The market witnessed good demand, prices were taking an firming upwards.
State wise Prices as on 16th September 2021 :
◾ Maharashtra: S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹338 to ₹3480/Qntl. whereas M/30 is at ₹3530 to 3625/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3470 to 3525/Qntl. whereas M/30 is at ₹3570 to 3600/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rate for M/30 is ₹3700 to 3750/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3420 to 3481/Qntl. whereas M/30 is at ₹3581 to 3601/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates were at ₹3630 to 3670/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates were at ₹3675 to 3700/Quintal.

International Market:
Yesterday’s Closing:
On Tuesday sugar prices closed high. London White Sugar closed at $511.90/ton up $16.30 whereas New York Sugar closed up 0.56 points at 19.52 cents per pound.
Market Today :
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $511.90/tn whereas the New York Sugar is trading at 19.58/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices: The rupee traded against the US dollar at 73.590 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.2643 Crude futures traded at Rs.5318, Crude WTI traded at $72.20 a barrel. Sensex closed 417.96 points up at 59,141.16 whereas Nifty ended 110.05 points up at 17,629.50.
