State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3190 to ₹3260/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3300 to 3350/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka: S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3300 to 3350/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3310 to 3400/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3450 to 3475/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3295 to 3421/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3361 to 3511/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3480 to 3525/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3530 to 3550/Qntl.

International Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $506.40/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.44/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.6789, Crude futures traded at Rs.5435, Crude WTI traded at $71.27 a barrel. Sensex closed 113.11 points higher at 59,901.14 whereas Nifty ended 27 points higher at 17,248.40.
