ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 22nd April 2023
Domestic Market
Weak sentiment reported
Domestic sugar prices quoted weak on subdued demand. Govt measures to check the prices rally also weighing the prices in the physical market. Trades were reported thin on the back holiday. Prices at major centres are reported down by around Rs 20-30 per Qntl.
Prices are expected to trade in a broader range in the near term, with limited downside due to short supply. We anticipate prices to quote steady for the coming days before making monthly quota allocations for the month of May.
