Market Scenario:
Market witnessed moderate demand nationwide in the morning. The market went quiet after an additional quota of 2.5 LMT was announced for domestic sale in the month of September 2021.
State wise prices as on September 24th, 2021 :
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3380 to ₹3450/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3510 to 3560/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3410 to 3485/Qntl. M/30 is at ₹3450 to 3535/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 are ₹3530 to 3680/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3381 to 3461/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3521 to 3551.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3600 to 3650/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3700/Qntl.

International Market:
Yesterday’s Closing:
Sugar prices on Thursday closed higher on strength in crude prices. London White Sugar closed at $513.40/ton up $5.20 whereas New York Sugar closed up 0.16 points at 19.49 cents per pound.
Market Today :
London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $510.10/tn whereas New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.43/lb
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices: The rupee traded against the US dollar at 73.17 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.3034 Crude futures traded at Rs.5406 Crude WTI traded at $73.17 a barrel. Sensex closed 163.11 points higher at 60,048.47 whereas Nifty ended 30.25 points lower at 17,853.20
