Domestic sugar prices were stable
Domestic sugar prices were reported to be stable on a thin trading session. Trading activity was reported to be dull due to Holi.
M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar ranges between Rs 3,760 and Rs 3,790 per quintal, whereas S-grade sugar in Kolhapur is expected to cost between Rs 3,410 and Rs 3,440. Agrimandi predicts that the price of S grade sugar in the Kolhapur market will fall to between Rs 3,400 and Rs 3,480 per quintal within the next two weeks. Sugar prices in Solapur range from Rs 3,360 to Rs 3,400 per quintal.
