State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3310 to ₹3330/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3370 to 3430/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3330 to 3380/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3425 to 3455/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3710 to 3775/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3371 to 3481/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3471 to 3561/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3500 to 3600/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3550 to 3650/Qntl.

Yesterday’s Closing:
Yesterday sugar prices closed higher on concern of Brazilian sugar crop. London White Sugar closed at $518.50/ton up $7.20 whereas New York Sugar closed at 19.70 cents per pound up 0.04 points.
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $516.3/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.71/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 74.890 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.6149 Crude futures traded at Rs.6136 Crude WTI traded at $81.75 a barrel. Sensex closed 1158.63 points lower at 59,984.70 whereas Nifty ended 353.70 points lower at 17,857.25
