Domestic sugar prices were stable to weak
Domestic sugar prices were reported to be stable to weak, with prices falling by Rs 10 per quintal in Maharashtra and remaining stable in Uttar Pradesh. Demand is said to be low, keeping prices in check in today’s session. Furthermore, when prices rose sharply in Uttar Pradesh last Friday, Maharashtra saw a slight increase because buyers were hesitant to buy at higher prices.
M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar ranges from Rs 3,910 to Rs 3,960 per quintal, while S-grade sugar in Kolhapur costs between Rs 3,575 and Rs 3,640. Agrimandi.live predicts that S-grade sugar prices in Kolhapur will fall between Rs 3,500 and Rs 3,650 per quintal in the coming days.

At the time of writing this update London White Sugar #5 front month contract is trading at $572.00 ton, whereas the New York Sugar #11 front month contract is trading at 22.48 c/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 83.779 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.4212, Crude futures traded at ₹5747, Crude WTI traded at $68.36 barrel. Sensex closed 1272.07 points lower at 84299.78 whereas Nifty closed 368.10 points lower at 25810.85
