Kolkata: Strengthening the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd has launched herbal hand sanitiser. The company has announced that the product will be sold under the brand name Dalmia Sanjeevani.
It is based on as per the WHO guidelines and 100 percent plant based, natural and organic hand sanitiser.
After the outbreak of coronavirus, there was a dearth of hand sanitisers. Following which, sugar mills come to rescue to fulfil the shortage in the country.
The company played a key role in the fight against the Coronavirus as it has also distributed the sanitisers free of cost to the hospitals and the police as their commitment to society.
The current manufacturing capacity for sanitisers is 600,000 litres per month, each at Jawaharpur and Nigohi and 200,000 litres per month at Kolhapur. With the launch of Dalmia Sanjeevani sanitisers, the company plans to expand its manufacturing capacity at 1800, 000 litres per month.
