Daurala: Daurala sugar mill has cleared cane dues of Rs 25.79 crore. According to the mill administration, the mill has cleared the cane dues of the farmers that have sent their cane to the mill from January 21 to 27.
The mill has till date crushed 138.31 lakh quintals of sugarcane which is higher than the cane crushed during the last crushing season. The mill had during last season crushed 131.25 lakh quintals of cane.
Pradeep Kumar, Secretary, Cooperative Sugarcane Development Committee said that soon this amount will be sent to the accounts of farmers. The mill administration has appealed to the cane farmers to send clean cane for crushing.
