Daurala: Daurala sugar mill plans to end the sugarcane crushing season by May 4, reports Live Hindustan.
The mill started crushing operations on November 1, 2022, and functioned with 167 cane collection centres. Most of the centres have been shut now.
Senior general manager of the mill Sanjeev Khatiyan said that the mill issued notices of closure on May 2 and it will close operations on May 4. We appeal to farmers to send their cane if they have any for crushing before May 4, he said.
