Davangere Sugar Company Limited on May 24 announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended Mar 31, 2024.
Performance overview:
Revenue from operations at 63.57 crore in March 2024 down 27.87% from Rs. 88.13 crore in March 2023.
Quarterly Net Profit at Rs. 4.55 crore in March 2024 down 46.91% from Rs. 8.57 crore in March 2023.
For the full year, net profit declined 7.41% to Rs 12.24 crore in the year ended March 2024 as against Rs 13.22 crore during the previous year ended March 2023. Revenue from operations declined 22.65% to Rs 216.53 crore in the year ended March 2024 as against Rs 279.94 crore during the previous year ended March 2023.
The standalone financial results are approved by the Board of Directors at their respective meeting held on May 24, 2024 after being reviewed and recommended by the audit committee.
The Board also approved the resignation submitted by Mrs Rekha Ganesh, Non Executive Promoter Director of The Company vide her letter dated 04th May, 2024 due to personal reasons.
