Bijnor: District Sugarcane Officer Yashpal Singh inspected the ongoing survey work of sugarcane crops in the region. He visited Swaheri village located in the jurisdiction of Barkatpur sugar mill and inspected the survey work.
He appealed to the farmers to remain present in their respective fields during a survey and ensure that the details filled in the survey are correct. This will help the farmers to reduce their issues related to cane cultivation.
He asked the farmers to ensure that the crops are not infected with the diseases like red rot and inform the department if they come across any such infection for immediate action.
