Kolhapur: MP Dhairyasheel Mane has demanded that the government should fill the vacant post of sugar department’s Regional Joint Director(Kolhapur) immediately.
He has requested the Secretary of the Department of Cooperation, Marketing and Textiles of the state to immediately appoint an officer to the post of Regional Joint Director.
In an application, Mane said, “There are 38 sugar mills in Kolhapur division, and the sugar commissionerate takes details about the cane crushing of these mills on a daily basis. There are other works as well the department is involved. Therefore the government should fill the vacant post so that the department can function with full efficiency.”
