Bijnor: Dhampur sugar mill crushed 189.30 lakh quintals of sugarcane and produced 19.05 lakh quintals of sugar in the crushing season 2023-24, reported Live Hindustan.
The mill cleared all the cane bills due for the season to the respective cane committees.
General Manager (Cane) Omveer Singh informed that the sugar mill has started the sugarcane survey work for the crushing season 2024-25 from April 15, 2024. Which will be completed by June 15, 2024. Farmers are requested to get the species-wise plant sugarcane survey of all their sugarcane plots done. So that there is no problem in supplying sugarcane during the crushing season 2024-25. In addition, under the sugarcane development schemes, Coragen, Hexastap, and Trichoderma for soil treatment and other pesticides are available at discounts at the zonal offices, mill gates, Sherkot, Habibwala, Nahtaur, Morna, Nurpur, Phina and Chandpur of the sugar mill.
