Dhampur, Uttar Pradesh: Dhampur sugar mill will start cane crushing season from October 19 this year. Last year the mill had started cane crushing operations on October 29.
M R Khan, deputy president, said that the mill has cleared 100 per cent cane dues of the farmers amounting to Rs 764.30 crore.
According to the news report published in Amarujala.com, Omvir Singh, Chief manager (sugarcane) said that the sugar mill will start operations 10 days earlier compared to the previous season. He has urged the cane farmers to be prepared to send their cane for crushing operations keeping in mind that the mill will start operations from October 19.
