Aurangabad, Maharashtra: Maharashtra Social Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde has asked the authorities to speed up the work related to the welfare and development of the sugarcane cutters. He had convened a meeting to take a review of the work related to the projects launched for the welfare of cane cutters.
During the meeting, he asked the concerned authorities to speed up the administrative work of the Late Gopinathrao Munde Sugarcane Cutters Workers Welfare Corporation and start the construction work of the Sant Bhagwan Baba Government Hostel scheme. The concerned districts should publish advertisements for the construction of 20 hostels under this scheme, he said.
According to uniindia.com, he directed that the process of registration of sugarcane workers should be started through the concerned authorities and this information should be made available by the sugar factories.
