Trivandrum, Kerala: Dilip Patil, the managing director of Karmayogi Ankushrao Tope Samarth SSK Ltd. Jalna, received the Industry Excellence Award from the Sugar Technologists’ Association of India (STAI) at the Annual Convention and International Sugar Exhibition held at Trivandrum on September 6, 2023. The award honours his significant contribution to the technological advancement of sugar and allied industries.
Patil thanked STAI for the honour and expressed his appreciation to his colleagues, mentors, family, and friends for their support and guidance. He also recognized the presence of Shri Sanjay Awasthi, Chairman STAI, Shri Sambhaji Kadu-Patil, DG VSI, Shri Sanjay Bhusreddy, Retd IAS, Shri Ranjit Puri Chairman, ISGEC Heavy Engineering, Shri Sanjeev Chopra, Secretary F&PD, GoI, Shri. Sameer Somaiya, Chairman Godavari Biorefinery, Shri Aditya Jhunjhunwala, President ISMA, Shri Narendra Mohan DG NSI, Shri R Nandkumar, President SSITA, Shri Bakshi Ram Ex-Director ICAR, Shri Ishwarsinh Patel, Chairman Gujarat State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories, Shri R L Tamak CEO DCM Shriram Ltd we’re on the stage who graced the occasion. He was presented with the award by Shri Sanjiv Chopra Secretary F&PD Govt of India.
Patil also thanked the Chairman of Sugar Mill Shri Rajesh Tope for his support to work as Managing Director. He said that he was proud to be part of Karmayogi Ankushrao Tope Samarth SSK Ltd. Jalna, one of the leading sugar factories in Maharashtra with two sugar units: one at Ankushnagar and another one at Thirthpuri. Unit-1 has a crushing capacity of 4000 TCD of sugar plant, 18 MW cogeneration plant and 60 KLPD distillery and Unit-2 has a crushing capacity of 2500 TCD and 60 KLPD distillery. The factory also produces ethanol and co-generation power. The factory has been awarded with various awards for its excellence in performance and quality.
Patil said that the award motivates him to continue working hard and innovating in the sugar industry. He hopes to contribute more to the sustainable development and growth of the industry in the future.
