Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh: District administration has taken up the issue of pending cane arrears and warned the sugar mills to clear pending cane arrears before Diwali or else be ready to face action.
According to the news report published in Livehindustan.com, he convened the meeting of the sugar mills officials on Tuesday and took a review of the pending cane arrears. He said as per law cane bills need to clear with 14 days of sugarcane procurement. The mills should clear the pending dues on a priority basis.
Sugar mills in the region are all set to commence the crushing season and for the same preparations are in full speed.
