Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh: District Magistrate Shambhu Kumar has asked district’s 4 sugar mills to pay cane bills to the sugarcane farmers on time. In case of non-payment, action will be taken against sugar mills.
According to the news report published in Amarujala.com, s meeting of the sugar mill officials and administration was convened to review the pending cane payment issue. The DM asked the district cane officer to issue a notice to the Chilwariya sugar mill, whose payment found to be unsatisfactory.
The meeting also discussed the regulations at the cane collection centres and putting reflectors on cane carrying vehicles.
