Shamli, Uttar Pradesh: District Magistrate seems stern over pending cane dues as he asked sugar mills in the district to declare the dates on which they would clear pending payment to the farmers, reports Live Hindustan.
The instructions have been issued to the district cane officer to get these details from the sugar millers.
Out of three sugar mills in the district, two have completed crushing operations and the Shamli sugar mill would continue operations till May 10.
