Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh: The sugarcane department will launch a door-to-door campaign to visit the sugarcane farmers and confirm the data filled in by them during the sugarcane survey is correct, reports Amar Ujala.
The department will launch the drive from July 20 and the officials will visit the farmers at their houses and show them all the details they had filled during the survey and confirm them.
There are around 3.50 lakh farmers in the district and the department aims to cover all the farmers during the drive.
District cane officer P N Singh said, “After completing the confirmation of data, it will be uploaded on the department’s website and the farmers are allowed to make any changes to ensure that the data is correct.”
