ICAR-The Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research (IISR), Lucknow has received conditional permission from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Directorate General of Civil Aviation to conduct the trials to evaluate spraying solutions on sugarcane crops to control pests and diseases using drones.
The trials are allowed till November 30 this year provided all the conditions are followed. If any condition is violated, the action will be initiated by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
