Patna: Amid the ongoing land-for-job case, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s eldest daughter and Patliputra MP, Misa Bharti, emphasized the importance of addressing Bihar’s industrial demands, particularly the reopening of closed sugar mills.
When asked about the chargesheet in the land-for-job case, Bharti remarked, “This is an old matter. Let’s see what they do about it.” Shifting her focus to Bihar’s industrial needs, she highlighted the crucial issue of the state’s defunct sugar mills.
Regarding the Prime Minister’s swearing-in ceremony, Bharti commented, “The longstanding demands have not been fulfilled. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar should also present his demands to PM Modi. Bihar should be granted special state status, and efforts should be made to reopen the closed sugar mills.”
