EID Parry’s new 120 KLPD distillery at its sugar unit in Haliyal, Karnataka, has commenced commercial operations at full capacity.
In a regulatory filing EID Parry said, “Further to our letter dated November 11, 2022 and pursuant to Regulation 30(6) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (“Listing Regulations”) read with Para B of Part A of Schedule Ill to the Listing Regulations, we wish to inform you that the new 120 KLPD distillery of the Company at the sugar unit of the company at Haliyal, Karnataka, has commenced commercial operations at its full capacity with effect from today, i.e. May 21, 2024.”

Company is a pioneer and world leader in organic spirulina and micro algal products in the Nutraceuticals space. ‘Parrys Spirulina’, with 3 major international certifications, is sold in more than 41 countries across the globe. The highly specialised manufacturing Plants of the Nutraceuticals business for micro algal production are located at Oonaiyur and Saveripuram in Tamil Nadu. The Company also retains a significant presence in the refined sugar and farm inputs business through its subsidiaries Parry Sugar Refinery India Pvt. Ltd. & Coromandel International Limited.
