Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 1 (ANI): Equity benchmark indices opened in the green on Monday with Sensex up by 217.43 points and Nifty up by 60.90 points.
At 9:30 am, the 30-scrip BSE Sensex was up by 217.43 points or 0.37 per cent at 59,524.36.
Similarly, 50-scrip NSE Nifty was trading at 17,732.60, at 9:30 am, up by 60.90 points or 0.34 per cent.
At 10:18 am, the 30-share index was trading 277.50 points higher at 59,584.43 in initial deals. Similarly, the Nifty rose 68.20 points to 17,739.85.
Bharti Airtel was the top gainer in the Sensex pack followed by HCL Tech, Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and Axis Bank.
On the other hand, M&M, Bajaj Finserv, Dr Reddy’s , HUL and Reliance Industries were among the laggards.
