Patna: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will visit Bihar next month to address the problems faced by the investors in the ethanol sector, reports The Times of India.
Several investors are ready to invest in Bihar and set up ethanol plants but they are facing issues with the loan.
Sharing this concern with the finance minister, state deputy CM-cum-finance minister Tarksihore Prasad said that the investors are ready to invest in the ethanol production plants having a capacity of 30 to 50 kiloliters per day but they are facing problems in getting loans from the banks.
Prasad said, “This issue needs to be resolved on a priority basis as Bihar is aiming to emerge as an ethanol production hub in the country.”
According to the news report published in The Times of india, he urged the FM to visit Bihar to address the issue and provide respite to the investors. Minister Sitharaman has agreed to visit Bihar.
