Begusarai: Bihar aims to become a hub for ethanol production and also taking steps to attract investment for the sector. Many companies have recently shown interest in setting up ethanol plants in the state.
Bihar’s industry minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said that three ethanol plants are ready for the inauguration.
He said, “The ethanol plant with a capacity of 5 lakh litres located in Ara is ready for inauguration. Besides, two more ethanol factories are set for inauguration in the Gopalganj district.”
“The inauguration of these plants will be done soon after considering the availability of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar,” the minister further added.
