Ranchi: Jharkhand government has approved an ethanol policy that has the provision of subsidy worth Rs 30 crore for setting up an ethanol plant in the state.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, cabinet secretary Vandana Dadel said, “As per the ethanol policy approved by the government subsidy up to Rs 30 crore will be provided to set up an ethanol plant in the state. The government will provide a capital subsidy of Up to 25% to the investor as per this policy. Rs 10 crore will be provided to small investors and up to Rs 30 crore for large industries.”
