Nashik: Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari said that ethanol production is more profitable for sugar factories. He was speaking at a state-level Agriculture Award Ceremony organized at Nashik University of Health Sciences.
Addressing the gathering, he emphasized that ethanol production is more profitable for sugar factories. The state government and the central government are implementing many schemes for the farmers, the farmers should take advantage of it.
The Union government has already set a roadmap for E20 blending with petrol and is working in this direction.
The increase in ethanol blending with petrol will help the government to reduce expenditure on oil imports.
