Bijnor: Sugarcane farmers have decided not to send their cane to the mills that have failed to clear their cane dues, reports Amar Ujala.
Farmers gathered under the banner of Bhartiya Kisan Union (apolitical) have started agitation against the Bajaj sugar mill, Bhilai. The members of the organization visited several villages and asked farmers not to send their cane to the mill.
Atul Kumar, regional vice president of the organization contacted several farmers and asked them to participate in their drive against the mill.
The farmers have decided not to sell their cane to the mill next season if it fails to clear dues.
