Jhabrera, Uttarakhand : Sugarcane farmers associated with the Iqbalpur sugar mill have urged the officials of the sugar mill to complete the survey of the damaged cane crops at the earliest and ensure they get compensation immediately, reports Live Hindustan.
A meeting of cane farmers was organized under the leadership of Subhash Lambardar, regional head of the BKU Ambawata at the sugar mill. The farmers demanded the chief manager of the sugar mill speed up the survey of the damaged sugarcane crops and ensure that the farmers get their dues in time. The farmers also demanded the sugar mill clear the cane dues pending with the sugar mill from 2018-19 and 2022-23.
