Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers under the leadership of BKU Lok Shakti district unit head Chaudhari Vir Singh Sahrawat have demanded that the sugar mills should pay farmers their pending cane dues with interest on it. They have submitted the memorandum of their demands to the SDM.
Sahrawat said that the sugar mills should pay farmers their pending cane dues with interest on it as per the government rule. We will agitate if the mills fail to accept our demands, he said.
The farmers also put forward the other demands regarding the agricultural sector.
