Puwanya, Shahjapur (Uttar Pradesh): A delegation of farmers led by Bhartiya Kisan Union (Sampurn Bharat) district unit head Ramakant Yadav met SDM and demanded the payment of cane dues of farmers on a priority basis, reports Amar Ujala.
They submitted a memorandum of demands addressed to DM stating that the Maqsoodapur sugar mill belonging to the Bajaj group has not cleared the cane dues of farmers and it is requested to the administration to ensure that the mill clears the dues on a priority basis.
