Farmers plan to launch Satyagraha over pending cane dues

Gola Gokarannath, Uttar Pradesh: The Rashtriya Kisan Shakti Sangathan (RKSS) held a meeting at the Sahkari Ganna Vikas Samiti premises over a whole array of burning issues faced by farmers, particularly against delayed cane payments, reported Live Hindustan.

Presided over by Radha Shyam Verma, the meeting drew attention to outstanding cane payments due to the farmers by sugar mills.

It was stated in the meeting that if the sugarcane payment is not made immediately, a meeting will be held on July 5 to decide on organizing separate Satyagraha in each sugar mill.

The meeting was attended by a large gathering of the organization that included the following members: Panel Members such as Radha Shyam Verma, Rahul Verma, Sharda Prasad Gautam, Rajiv Verma, Parmeshwar Din Verma, Rajesh Kumar, Shyam Kishore, and Jaisingh Yadav.
