Farmers threaten to launch an agitation for pending cane dues

Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers associated with the Malakpur sugar mill have threatened to launch an agitation for their pending cane dues with the mill, reports Live Hindustan.

A meeting of farmers was organized in Bamnauli village during which the farmers showed their resentment over the delay in cane payments by the mill.

Farmers stated that the Malakpur, Bhaisana, and Kinauni sugar mills are yet to clear cane dues, and if these mills delay in clearing dues, they will be forced to launch agitation against the millers.
