Paddy is being purchased at the minimum support price (MSP) of Rs 2,320 per quintal for Grade ‘A’ paddy, and the total expenditure on paddy purchases to date amounts to Rs 14,066 crore, benefiting 351,906 farmers.

Additionally, 4,145 millers have applied for paddy shelling and are currently collecting paddy from the mandis. Therefore, the state is on track to meet the 185 LMT target by the end of November.
