Chandigarh: Coronavirus has impacted hard to many countries. It has also created the problem of availability of essential commodities. To ensure that country does not face a shortage of essential commodities, many are working day and night.
According to the Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Punjab Cooperation Minister, Sugarfed has supplied 21.07 lakh kg of Sugar to the people amid COVID-19 crisis as part of its responsibility. The employees of the Sugarfed have also contributed Rs 29.05 lakh to the Chief Minister Covid Relief Fund.
Randhawa thanked the people and employees that have come forward and donated to the relief fund during the crisis.
