Sugar Tribunal has announced the dates for the 2021 sugar crushing season.
Lautoka mill will start crushing operations on June 4 while Rarawai will start operations on June 23. Labasa sugar mill will start crushing on July 7.
Timothy Brown, Registrar of the sugar Tribunal said that the farmers should initiate the harvesting activities and deliver the cane to the mills one day before starting the crushing dates.
