Minister for Sugar Industry and Multi-Ethnic Affairs Charan Jeath Singh has underscored Fiji’s dedication to enhancing cooperation with Brazil in the sugar and bioenergy sectors. Singh met Brazil’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, reported FBC News
The two ministers had a productive dialogue on the international relations of Fiji and Brazil, aimed at enhancing the sugar industry of Fiji. As indicated by both officials, tremendous opportunities exist to further bilateral cooperation.
The meeting, held at the 30th edition of Fenasucro & Agrocana in Brazil in 2024, makes for a critical step in the discussion between the two countries about reiterating the commitment to mutual developmental goals and interests for both sugar and bioenergy.
