Fiji Sugarcane Growers Council gets a new Chairperson replacing Sanjay Kumar. Reshma Kumari will take the new charge.
As per the Sugar Industry Act 1984, Prime Minister and Minister of the Sugar Industry Voreqe Bainimarama appointed Kumari as the Chairperson of the Council.
Kumari has a family background of sugarcane farming and holds a Master of Arts majoring in Economics from the University of Tsukuba in Japan.
