Meerut: Bagasse stored near a boiler of a Sakauti based sugar unit of IPL on Sunday created a panic situation in the mill. However, the mill workers managed to bring the fire under control.
According to the news report published in Live Hindustan, the employees were busy in performing their duty on Sunday when suddenly they noticed fire broke out at the bagasse kept near a boiler of the mill. The alert employees used the fire extinguishers and doused the fire. This averted a major mishap.
